Big Things
Big Things
Sometimes you don’t even realize the “big things” until after they have already happened and it is too late to really appreciate the moment.
Take for instance, the last Christmas that you put together one of those convoluted contraptions that had a million pieces and required multiple batteries. You probably did not realize that would be the last time your little one would be little enough to want such play things. Now they have moved on to video games, sweatpants, hoodies and much more mature things.
How about the last time your little one would let you pick out their clothes. All the pretty little dresses or the cute little clip on bow ties, no way that is happening now. I am lucky if I can get my son to wear a pair of jeans. My daughter, she keeps stealing things out of my closet!
Far worse than any of these trivial things…How about the last time you picked them up, cradled them in your arms. Do you even recall that very last time? Such a big thing yet I honestly do not recall that last time. If I had known it would have been the last time you bet I would have made it a big thing!
Big Things
